Understanding the activation process

The activation process is a short procedure that you should only complete once a year in order to make sure that your account is linked to the ongoing school subscription. 
Note that the process is different for 1st and 2nd grade students. You will find the procedure for these students, by clicking on the following link :  Understanding the activation process (1st and 2nd grade)

New this year! We are now offering, in addition to the "classic" activation method, a brand new and simplified group activation. It will allow you activate all of your students, in a centralized manner, directly from your profile's Manage my Classes section. To activate your account, you'll need an 8-character activation code. 
For example: P8E4-RE2V.

Where can you find the activation code? 

For the teacher
For the student
The code will be given to you by your teacher.


Activation - New user

If you are a new user on Netmath, you must create a new account.
  • On the activation page, once your code is entered, select this option at step 2:


  • Then, enter your information as requested in step 3. You will then be redirected to your home page. 

Please note that entering an email address is optional for students. 
However, it is necessary to reset a password. 


Activation in a second class

If you already have a Netmath account and you wish to be activated in a second classroom, you just need to enter your sign-in information to activate your account in the desired class.
  • On the activation page, once your code is entered, choose this option at step 2:




Then, enter your information as requested in step 3:


  • Enter your first and last name or the email address that you used when creating your account as a username. You will then be redirected to your home page. 
If you have forgotten your password, 
click I forgot my password to reset it.


Activation with a Google account

Whether you are a new user or not, the process is the same with a Google account.


  • The system will then ask you to choose which Google account to use to sign in and you will be automatically redirected to your home page.
